What is Text Banking? Quick access to your account information is only a text away. Just request information with a simple text command and we’ll respond with the information. It’s that simple. It’s great for users with text plans, but no mobile internet. No Smartphone required.


Get account information within seconds
Quick account information via text message such as:

  • Balance information (BAL)
  • Transaction history (HIST + shortname)
  • ATM locations (ATM + zip code)
  • And more....

Get started in 3 simple steps
To enable Text Banking, sign on to Online Banking and select "Mobile
Banking Center" from the At-a-Glance menu. Select "Manage Text
Banking".

Then, complete the following:

  1. Add your Mobile Number
  2. Verify your Mobile Number
  3. Enable Text Banking with SunTrust

While SunTrust does not charge a fee for SunTrust Mobile Banking, normal data rates apply for each respective carrier.

Mobile alerts and related text messages will be sent from SUN411 (786411). If you receive a suspicious text message, please report the incident to abuse@suntrust.com.
