Hurricane Update

Our thoughts are with our clients, teammates and communities impacted by Hurricane Florence. We know that many families face challenging times ahead as we recover following the storm. We are committed to doing everything we can to ease stress and support your financial well-being during this difficult time. To that end, we are taking the following actions for clients in impacted areas:

  • Automatically refunding all ATM fees and related surcharges for non-SunTrust ATMs over the evacuation period.
  • Providing disaster relief accommodations for consumer loans, mortgages, home equity lines and credit cards, upon request, for those in FEMA-declared major disaster areas. Please contact us directly to request payment relief.
  • Suspending late payment fees and late-payment credit reporting to credit bureaus for clients in FEMA-declared major disaster areas for a period of 90 days.
