Roth IRAs

Save for tomorrow without tying up your contributions.

Whereas a Traditional IRA is funded with pre-tax dollars and then taxes are paid when funds are distributed, contributions to a Roth IRA are made with after tax dollars so all earnings and distributions can be taken without paying federal tax. Roth IRAs tend to be more flexible, and can be especially beneficial for younger investors who are currently in a low tax bracket.

Why choose a Roth IRA?

  • All earnings are free of federal (and most states) tax if withdrawn after age 59½ and your account has been open for at least five years
  • You have the flexibility to withdraw your contributions
  • Unlike Traditional IRAs, there are no Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)
  • Upon your death, any remaining assets can be distributed tax free to your beneficiaries
It's not too late to change!

Did you know that you can convert an existing Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA* to enjoy more flexibility and tax-free income in retirement?
