Jennifer Williams is a Private Financial Advisor with SunTrust Private Wealth Management. She is a twenty-four year veteran with SunTrust providing Investment Management and advisory services to high net worth families, foundations, businesses and not-for-profits. Ms. Williams has been named to the 2017 Financial Times list of 400 Top Financial Advisors*. Ms. Williams background distinguishes her, as she has direct experience as an entrepreneur, board member, real estate investor, corporate & investment banker and financial planner. This gives her a unique outlook as a financial advisor. Real life experience has resulted in knowledge on how to properly hold and structure investments while focusing on asset protection and tax implications. Ms. Williams is exceptionally well qualified to understand and incorporate the risk, return and correlation of outside business and real estate interests, with a properly diversified investment portfolio. She assists clients, develop investment policies and portfolios to manage investments, while minimizing taxes and planning for future distributions.

Ms. Williams joined SunTrust Bank in 1994, first with the Corporate Banking department and then the Corporate & Investment Banking group, where she provided financing and investment banking services, such as public debt and equity capital funding for corporations. In 2000, Ms. Williams joined the Private Wealth Management Division of SunTrust, providing wealth management, investment management and advisory services to families, individuals and businesses. In 2010 Ms. Williams became a member of the SunTrust Foundation & Endowment Specialty Practice, bringing experience in assisting not-for-profit organizations by providing investment management and planned giving services.

Ms. Williams is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida with a BS in Finance. She has earned the professional designations of Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) and Accredited Portfolio Management AdvisorSM (APMA®). In addition, she has been recognized by the Harvard School of Business - Governing for Non Profit Excellence (HBS GNE Class of2016) and received the Cannon Financial Institute Certification: Trust, Wills & Estates and is a 21/64 Certified Advisor focusing on multi-generational wealth management and philanthropy. Ms. Williams has also served on the WEDU, Public Broadcasting System, board of directors, the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay - board of trustees (2012-2018), the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council - past board of directors, SunTrust Women's Leadership Council - past president, Leadership Tampa - Alumni Class of 2002, the Spring of Tampa Bay and Lifepath Hospice - past board of trustees and founder of site providing goal achievement as well as growth & development.
