John Strickland is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor with SunTrust Private Wealth Management. He offers clients more than 19 years of comprehensive wealth management experience, with a team approach that brings together specialists in banking, investments, financial planning, credit and estate strategies. He is a native of Winston-Salem NC and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. John is an active member of his community serving and providing his time to many philanthropic initiatives throughout Charleston. He serves on the board of directors and provides leadership over the development committee for Reading Partners, a nationally recognized organization. In addition he is actively engaged in coaching many youth sports including tennis, basketball, football and swimming.
