Meghan Pietrantonio is the leader of Family Philanthropy for the Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice at SunTrust Bank. Working closely with families, she establishes shared values, defines mission statements, develops grantmaking strategies and programs and creates tools for evaluation and impact to further philanthropic goals and family cohesion. Meghan is a Certified Advisor with 21/64, an organization devoted to multigenerational family philanthropy. During her 15 years of relationship management and nonprofit experience, she has worked with some of the firm's largest and most complex family foundations.

Meghan earned her Master of Business Administration from Georgia Tech and is a cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University. As a Client Manager, Meghan is a key, strategic advisor to new and existing relationships. She provides deep nonprofit insight and expertise to clients in addition to overseeing the administration of accounts.

Meghan regularly engages with the Southeastern Council of Foundations (SECF). Currently, she serves as the Convener of the Atlanta Foundations Forum. She graduated from the SECF Hull Fellows Program in 2011 and is a faculty member of the Essential Skills and Strategies training provided to staff and board members of grantmaking organizations. In addition, Meghan has joined the Georgia delegation to speak with congressmen and legislators about the impact of foundation activities at the Foundations on the Hill annual gathering.

Before starting at SunTrust, Meghan was Director of Development for the Southeast Region of the Anti-Defamation League. In that role she raised funds for the annual appeal, specific program support and planned giving throughout Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Meghan started her nonprofit career at the Metro Atlanta Arts and Culture Coalition (MAACC). In January 2007, she was promoted to Interim CEO for the organization.

Meghan volunteers her time with several civic and community service organizations including Holy Spirit Preparatory School and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. She is an alumna of LEAD Atlanta's Class of 2014 and currently serves as Alumni Co-Chair for the organization.

SunTrust's Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice delivers comprehensive investment advisory, administration, planned giving, custody, trust and fiduciary services to nonprofit organizations.
