Mercer Borden is an Institutional Sales Manager within the Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice at SunTrust Bank. Stern School at New York University. As an Institutional Sales Manager, Mercer provides nonprofit organizations in-depth consulting regarding their investment and administrative needs. Mercer leads the initial engagement and works with the team to develop tailored solutions designed to support nonprofits meet their fiduciary duty as well as preserve and grow their assets. He serves as a regional leader in developing and maintaining a strong business presence across the southeastern United States.

Mercer has spent 20 years in asset management focusing on business development and client coverage in the hedge fund and fund of hedge funds industry in New York City working with a broad range of investors including foundations, endowments, pensions and family offices spread across the U.S. Most recently, Mercer worked at Man Group, the largest publicly traded hedge fund firm in the world, based in London. Prior to Man Group, Mercer was a partner at Pine Grove Asset Management, a $1 billion fund of hedge funds based in Summit, New Jersey.

Mercer is married to Jennifer and has 2 sons, Mercer and Thatcher. He enjoys hunting and coaching lacrosse.
