When a board of trustees selects a new executive director, they are granting that person a great deal of authority right off the bat. Finding the right director is incredibly important, but many search committees struggle with the task.

Quanda Allen, director of practice development within the Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice at SunTrust Bank, spoke with John Sparrow of Boardwalk Consulting to discuss ways an organization can ensure their search for a new director will be a successful one.
