Stephen Yarbrough
Senior Vice President

Michael Hill - Managing Director Stephen Yarbrough is the Head of the SunTrust’s institutional investment solutions division and also serves as the President of SunTrust Institutional Investment Advisors, LLC.

Stephen has over 20 years of experience within the investment management industry. During his career, Stephen has held an increasing variety of leadership and strategy roles. Most recently, Stephen served as the Director of Operations with RidgeWorth Capital Management. In this role, Stephen had responsibility for the client service, technology and trading teams.

Stephen graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1990 with a B.A. in Economics. He received a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Michael T. Hill
Managing Director
Director of Institutional Consulting

Michael Hill - Managing Director Mike Hill joined SunTrust in 1999 as a portfolio manager and team member for the firm’s flagship Large Cap Core equity strategy. As an Investment Manager for the Foundations & Endowments Specialty Practice, Mike is responsible for day-to-day portfolio monitoring, investment policy development and review, and strategic consulting for not for profit relationships and clients’ company-sponsored retirement plans.

Prior to joining SunTrust, Mike was director of proprietary fixed income trading as a partner with J.C. Bradford & Co. In addition to proprietary trading, he managed debt structuring and origination for institutional clients.

Mike is active in the not-for-profit community and serves on several boards in his community. He attended the University of Tennessee and Belmont University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and also a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mike is a member of the CFA Institute and Nashville Society of Financial Analysts.

Philip Millians
Senior Vice President
Director of Client Service

Phillip Millians - SVP Philip Millians is responsible for Client Service delivery within the Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice. In this role, Philip manages a team of Client Managers who are responsible for matching client needs with administrative and investment solutions. The Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice is a dedicated team of financial and administrative professionals within SunTrust that work exclusively with not-for-profit organizations. The range of services includes investment advisory, planned giving administration, foundation and grants management and custodial services all with the goal of partnering with our clients to achieve their missions.

Philip volunteers his time with many civic and community service organizations and presently serves on the Advisory Board for the Shepherd Center, Legacy Gifts Committee for The Lovett School and the Foundation’s Committee for the Woodruff Arts Center Annual Campaign. In addition, Philip is an Elder with Peachtree Presbyterian Church, a member of the Leadership Georgia Class of 1999, the Georgia Planned Giving Council and is a past Chairman on the Foundation’s Committee for the Woodruff Arts Center Annual Campaign.

An Atlanta native, Philip earned his AB degree in Economics from the University of Georgia. He is also a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).

Randy Karesh
Senior Vice President
Director of Planned Giving Services

Randy Karesh- SVP With over 26 years of industry experience, Randy has management responsibility for all of SunTrust’s Planned Giving products and services for not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining SunTrust in 2005, Randy served as Vice President and Charitable Advisor with Wachovia Bank, NA. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Endowment Development with the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and Investment Advisor with Merrill Lynch and NationsBanc Securities.

Randy serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Georgia Planned Giving Council and is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. He is also a volunteer with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Randy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.

Quanda Allen
First Vice President
Client Manager & Director of Thought Leadership

Quanda Allen - FVPQuanda Allen serves as a key relationship manager for institutional not-for-profit endowments in Washington, DC and leads the thought leadership program for the division. Quanda partners with her team with the goal of helping clients achieve their missions by offering a range of services including investment advisory, planned giving administration, foundation and grants management and custodial services.

Quanda joined SunTrust in December of 2012 after 5 years with U. S. Trust/Bank of America Corporation, most recently having served as Senior Vice President and Senior Philanthropic Relationship Manager in Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. Prior to her financial services experience, Quanda led the development, community engagement and marketing functions at several large Atlanta-based not-for-profit organizations.

Quanda volunteers her time with many civic and community service organizations and presently serves on the Board of Directors for Franklin Pond Chamber Music (Chair), the Georgia Planned Giving Council (Membership Chair), and The Commerce Club’s Commerce Society for Young Leaders (Chair). In 2009, Quanda was recognized by Outstanding Atlanta for her exemplary civic engagement and professional accomplishments.

An Atlanta native, Quanda earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University. She is also a graduate of Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies with a Master’s in Urban Policy Studies and Not-for-profit Management. In 2012, she completed the Columbia University Graduate School’s Women’s Leadership Program and earned a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation (CAP ®).
