2 You will earn an additional 1% in Cash Rewards (2% Cash Rewards total) at Participating Merchants (gas and grocery stores), on Qualifying Purchases made with the Card for the first $6,000 combined total of Qualifying Purchases during each Calendar Year at Participating Merchants.

3 Cash Rewards Redemption: After the close of the billing period in which you earn Cash Rewards, if your Card Account is in Good Standing, you may redeem a minimum of $5 for either a statement credit to your card account or an ACH credit to a deposit account. You can earn a Loyalty Cash Bonus of 10%, 25%, or 50% if you redeem through an ACH deposit into a SunTrust deposit account. See Program Agreement for details and tier levels as follows:

  • Clients who redeem Cash Rewards through an ACH deposit into any SunTrust checking, savings or money market account will receive a 10% Loyalty Cash Bonus.
  • Clients with a SunTrust Advantage Checking, Signature Advantage Checking, or Exclusive Checking account and meeting one of the following Combined Consumer Deposits and Investment Balances will earn a Loyalty Cash Bonus of:
    • 25% Loyalty Cash Bonus if balances total between $25,000 and $100,000,
    • 50% Loyalty Cash Bonus if balances total greater than $100,000.
  • SunTrust Premier Program or Private Wealth Management clients will receive a 50% Loyalty Cash Bonus. See for details on advisory service levels.

For example, a 10% Loyalty Cash Bonus on $100 in base Cash Rewards would earn an additional $10, totaling $110 in Cash Rewards earnings.

SunTrust Deals: SunTrust Deals is a separate reward option for debit and credit card clients and is not connected to the existing SunTrust Credit Card Rewards Program or the Delta SkyMiles Debit Card Program. Cash Back earned through SunTrust Deals is not eligible for credit card Loyalty Cash Bonuses. Clients must be enrolled in Online Banking or Mobile Banking to participate in SunTrust Deals and have either an eligible SunTrust debit or credit card. Earned cash back will be automatically credited to the client’s preferred checking account or as a statement credit to their SunTrust credit card. For more information, please read the program Terms and Conditions.

Credit Card Lock/Unlock: Cards of Authorized Users will continue to be active and use will not be interrupted, even when Primary or Secondary cards are locked. Payments are still required, and credits and adjustments will continue when your card is locked. Setting a lock will not prevent an expiring card from being reissued. Automatic or recurring transactions will continue to post (like a utility bill or gym membership, for example).  Balance Transfers and Convenience Check transactions may continue while the card is locked. Not applicable to Business Credit Cards.

Mastercard ID Theft Protection: For cardholders who enrolled prior to July 1, 2019, this service shall be provided by CSID until December 31, 2019. Cardholders will have to re-enroll with Generali Global Assistance, Inc. at the link provided in the enrolled cardholder notices. Cardholders will need to register for this service. Cardholders who enroll on or after July 1, 2019, this service shall be provided by Generali Global Assistance Inc.

Zero Liability: Zero Liability protects you from unauthorized purchases if your card is lost or stolen. The protection includes PIN-based transactions at the point-of sale and ATM, and online or mobile transactions.
