The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is accurate as of , and the term or the APY is subject to change at any time and without notice. A 1.50% APY equates to an interest rate of 1.49%. The minimum opening deposit and balance to obtain the APY is $2,000. The maximum opening deposit is $1,000,000 per client. Accounts opened online are limited to $250,000 per CD. This is not available for public funds. There is a substantial penalty imposed for early withdrawals that may result in a reduction of principal if accrued interest is not sufficient to cover the penalty. Fees could reduce earnings on the account.

Unless you instruct us otherwise, when this CD matures, it will automatically renew:

  • For the same time period as the original CD term.
  • At the SunTrust standard interest rate based on the balance tier and the interest rate in effect for your local area at the time of each renewal, based on your renewal balance.
