Patrick Long is a Private Financial Advisor with SunTrust Investment Services, Inc. Patrick is part of the Kennedy/Long Group and they offer clients more than 60 years of financial services, retirement planning and investment management experience. Patrick earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Winthrop University. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), a designation conferred by the Investments and Wealth Management Institute through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS®), a designation earned through the College of Financial Planning®.

Before embarking on his career helping his clients succeed financially, Patrick helped people succeed tee-to-green as a PGA golf professional. The lessons he taught on the course such as setting and achieving reasonable expectations, sound course management and practicing the fundamentals are also key components of the financial coaching and guidance he provides.

Patrick and his wife Terri, are empty-nesters residing in uptown Charlotte. Patrick was instrumental in starting the McEvoy Foundation. He also is an active Winthrop Soccer alumnus where he played collegiately.
