Shannon Swanick is a Client Advisor with SunTrust Private Wealth Management. She offers business owners, executives and high net worth families more than 16 years of banking and investment management experience. She was a recipient of the SunTrust Gold Performance of Excellence Award in 2014. Shannon came to SunTrust Bank from Wells Fargo Bank, where she was a Senior Private Banker. Previously, she was a Senior Client Manger at Bank of America in the Global Wealth and Investment Management Group.

Shannon's focus is advising on the development and implementation of investment and banking strategies to help clients meet their immediate and future goals. Supported by Diana Smith, she follows a disciplined process of assessing a client's financial situation, determining risk tolerance, forming and executing an appropriate investment plan and regular portfolio rebalancing in order to obtain measurable results. She also consults on risk management, retirement planning, estate planning and other critical financial strategies.

Shannon earned her Bachelor's degree from Ohio University. Shannon is currently a board member of the Alpharetta Public Safety Foundation and a member of the Atlanta Aero Club. A native of Columbus, Ohio, she earned an Ohio High School State Swimming Champion title in 1989. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys travel and golf. She and her husband, Charles Swanick, have two young daughters.
